Abbye Jahn
Prospective Student Coordinator
About Abbye: I was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, but truly call Oklahoma home now. I met my husband my first semester at OSU, and we got married two months after we graduated college. Our first baby boy is due in December! I love working with high school and college students, and helping students decide what major is the best fit for them.
Hometown: Pea Ridge, AR
High School: Pea Ridge High School
College: Oklahoma State University
- Degree(s)
- BS Industrial Engineering & Management
Hobbies: Running, reading, listening to podcasts, playing with my two Border Collies
Favorite Music: Pretty much anything! I gravitate towards country the most though probably.
Favorite Movie: The Family Stone
Favorite Book: The Road Back to You by Ian Morgan Cron (I’m an Enneagram 9!)
Something not everyone knows about you: I lived on the beach in Florida for two summers during college.
Favorite Quote: “You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you.” – Andy Warhol
Best Advice for College Students: Don’t be afraid to try new things, but once you learn what you’re truly passionate about, stick to devoting your time to that. There are so many opportunities, but you can’t do it all, so spend your time on the things that matter most to you.
Favorite OSU memory: Every year the night before walk-around, I would take Sonic drinks to my friends working on the final touches of the homecoming decks and get a sneak peek at the magic!
