Vision Statement

To provide educators of all grades and subject areas with top-notch classroom resources to enhance hands-on STEM in the classroom and equip them with the necessary tools to empower our next generation of STEM thinkers and doers!

Purpose

NASA has established the Educator Resource Center Network (ERCN) to provide educators across the country with information about NASA, as well as the educational resources and services it provides. NASA's unique research and missions have allowed NASA Education to produce educational materials that engage student interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and support classroom curricula across all subjects and grade levels.

The NASA Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium (OSGC) Educator Resource Center (ERC) is located in the old USDA building on the OSU campus (Stillwater, OK).  We provide in-service, pre-service, and informal educators in Oklahoma with an easily accessible source of materials that reflect NASA’s current research and technology. These materials relate to curriculum areas such as Human Exploration, Development of Space, Earth Science, Space Science, Life Science, Astronomy, Aerospace Technology, and Biological and Physical Research. The materials are designed to reach students in grades Pre-K through 12th in ALL subject areas.  NASA educational materials are available for FREE and include posters, lithographs, curriculum guides, briefs, educational activities, videos, Podcasts, and more.

Requesting Free Classroom Resources

Educators can request materials by setting up an appointment to either meet at our ERC location on the OSU campus or a phone conference.  Each meeting or phone conference will last thirty minutes to an hour and will allow our Education Coordinator to pull the FREE resources most beneficial to your classroom and needs.   The free materials pulled will reflect your subject, grade level, and skills needs for your students.  For phone conferences, the materials will be mailed to you.
