Research under Dr. Tyler Ley focusing on concrete mixtures to withstand freezing climates May 7 n regions that experience extreme cold regularly, roadways and bridges go through constant cycles of freezing and thawing. This requires special blends of concrete known as air-entraining concrete mixtures, which have certain additives to create tiny air bubbles in the concrete.
Two OSU chemical engineering students receive Niblack Research Scholarship May 6 Rachel Davis and Noor Atiyeh, undergraduate students in the School of Chemical Engineering, have been awarded the Niblack Research Scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year.
